One Dream and Two Sewing Machines

Back in 1960, C.R. (Bud) and Sally Pendergast opened a little mattress factory on South Appleton Street in Appleton. It started out as a small business with only two sewing machines and limited supplies. With a lot of hard work, long hours and help from family and friends, The Sleep Shop has grown to be one of the most modern, clean and efficient mattress factories in Wisconsin.

Locally owned mattress company in Appleton. Good quality mattresses made in their shop and priced well below the national brands. No high-pressure sales people, but they are there to help with your mattress selection.

We recently purchased our second mattress from the sleep shop. This one is a custom size for our camper. We had a choice of any mattress on the floor and it was the same price as the closest standard size. As an added bonus it only took a couple of days for them to make and turned out perfect. Service is great, I recommend the sleep shop every chance I get
